I have searched an app to manage dupe files. But this particular one is completely useless as it search for duplicates only in User Folder. You can not search dupes in other folders of your HDD or in external HDD. I have not checked if it clears caches good as this was not my task.

I click OK but nothing happens. Dialog just disappears, so i can click CLEAN again, and so on.

the application cleaned up mumerous duplicates of movies/videos i had-not knowing- however..indeed it worked very well !! Im a happy camper :)~

Does what its advertised to do and its fast.

As all the other reviews have said it does exactly what you need it too and I had used it to clear atleast 10 GB of extra crap I didn’t need. Would definitly recommend.

SimpleCleaner cleared about 120GB of junk from my full 500GB Mac Mini HDD in less than 5 minutes. Amazing. I found the most useful feature of this program was its ability to locate large files, then it can arrange them by size where they are easily selectable for removal. Plus if you don’t recognize one of these large files SimpleCleaner found just right click it and it’ll show you where it is in the finder. One feature I would like: a progress bar when the actual cleaning is happening. It just gives you a spinning circle when it’s doing its thing. Due to its insane speed on an internal HDD, this isn’t hugly bothersome, but still: a progress bar is always nice. Being free is the icing on the cake. Thanks, SONG BO!

Fast,simple and easy to understand. When i upgraded to maverick I lost the use of my other HD cleaner so had to get a new one. First one I tried did nothing. This app has clear instructions and on/ off switch for which files you want swept clean. It is also very very fast.

I like it because of the following… it’s simple it works it’s similar to disk clean in the Windows environment and I know it’s working and what has been done. Take bow, this doesn’t usually happen.

Works simply, quickly to rid your Mac of wasted storage. Plus it’s free.
